Seasonal restrictions in place to protect nesting birds of prey

To protect nesting golden eagles, the U.S. Forest Service is implementing annual area closures in Boulder Canyon beginning February 1, 2022. The closures include popular rock climbing spots at Eagle Rock, Blob Rock, Bitty Buttress and Security Risk in Boulder Canyon.
