Assessor for over 15 years’ and has over 25 years of experience with personnel and finance management.
Her advanced education is essential to her success. She is a Licensed Ad Valorem Mass Appraiser, a BA Degree in Communication, and a Master’s Degree in Business Management. Being an Appraiser and your County Assessor, she understands and studies the current, ever-changing field of appraisal and assessment.
She recognizes the complex, changing markets of Gilpin County; unique homes, mining claims, ranches. and gaming properties. Understanding of the complexities of our county, of our school district lines, of our home builders and our buyers is a large part of the success of her role in the office.
The Assessor’s office is comprised of outstanding individuals who have the determination, focus and professionalism required to assess fairly and equitably for you, the resident. The office incorporates and educates on new legislation helping owners understand any changes to their properties value. They all are innovative and flexible ensuring great customer service during all the modifications over these last few years.

She has been a homeowner in Gilpin County for 19-years. Her son and daughter are accomplished graduates of our Gilpin County High School.
Being involved in her professional and local community is vital to Anne. She has been the Colorado representative to the International Association of Assessing Officer’s and has been the District 3 Chair for the Colorado Assessor’s Association. She is a Peak to Peak Rotarian, has been a part of the High Country Fire Auxiliary, and a volunteer at Ermel’s Thrift Store.
