Faith Ann Yenne: 4/23/1939 – 10/15/2021Free Access


Faith Ann Yenne (Marcotte) of Smith Center, Kansas, passed away on October 15, 2021. Faith was born the daughter of Lester & Dorothea (Coogan) Palu on April 23, 1939 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She graduated from Mukwonago Union High School in Wisconsin.

She served as an Airman Second Class in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1959, as a radar operator with the designation of Airman, Second Class.

She lived in Nederland from 1986 to 2012. She owned and operated the very successful business, A-Dynamite Cleaning Service that operated in Nederland and Boulder from 1998 to 2012. Faith and Michael married on May 29, 1994.

Faith retired to Kansas with her husband in April of 2012, where she helped on the farm raising cattle.

She loved to cook and give dinner parties; once having been written up in the Denver newspaper as the “Best Cook of the West”. She was always willing to help those in need. She was passionate about animals. She wanted everyone to think of her now surrounded by all of the animals that she ever loved.

She is survived by her children Cory Marcotte (Houston, Texas); Steven Marcotte (Santa Monica, California); DeAnna Marcotte (Arlington, Virginia); stepson Jarrod Yenne (Denver, Colorado); grandson Stephen Andrew Michael Yenne. Siblings Karen, Richard and Sue Paulu of Wisconsin.

Faith was cremated and a service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery in the future.

Faith was a truly giving person and made contributions to many charities. To honor her, contributions may be made to one of her favorites, The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS).
