Collectibles galore at the best prices

If you’re looking to buy original art and photography, items from Native American history, books, or other collectibles, look no further than Golden Rose Antiques and Collections, located in Central City.

Golden Rose is owned by Jeffrey and Cindy Warner, who expanded their business into a physical building in July of 2007 after selling antiques on eBay as a second source of income.

The business is the longest-running non-casino business in Central City. The building that houses the business was built in 1874 after a great fire burned down over 150 buildings in the Central City business district. The current building also hosted Springer’s Pharmacy, the oldest continuously operated drug store in Colorado.

Mary Laffey is the sole employee of the store, running the physical location during business hours. Along with selling collectibles, Golden Rose also offers estate sales. The business takes pride in being able to buy and sell items at the lowest possible prices for all parties.

Jeffrey and Cindy’s favorite aspect of their job is hunting for unusual items and researching the intriguing history behind their business and the items they sell. The business hopes to continue offering specials and sales for its collections. For those looking for an intriguing repertoire of historical items, Golden Rose is the place to go.

Golden Rose is located at 107 Eureka Street in Central City. Business hours are Friday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information about the business, check out their Facebook page at Golden- Rose- Antiques- and- Collectibles-351172208242294/ or call 303-330-1682.
